Elder Runolfson offered 'the Honors' to anyone who wanted to be the one who placed his badge on for the first time. Mom, obviously, took up the offer. Mom has had a really hard time watching her Boy leave her. He did a lot for her and she's depended a lot on him, so it's been really hard for her to let him go. She started crying a week before he left and really let it go at the MTC (understandably).
